It’s about a call for applications for the “Educational Training Program for Intercultural Mediators” which is an initiative led by the Ministry of Migration and Asylum, is being implemented in partnership with UNHCR and in cooperation with the Scientific Institute of the General Confederation of Greek Workers (INE GSEE), the Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Centre of the General Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen and Merchants of Greece (KEK GSEVEE – KDVM) and METAdrasi, in line with the National Integration Strategy.
The training aims to lead to the specific certification which not only defines crucial functions, knowledge, skills, and abilities for Intercultural Mediators but also serves as a foundation for developing professional training programs.
The call is addressed to interested parties from the geographical region of Attica (Athens).
Applications are sent online until 20 January 2024!
Qualifications required:

- Proven knowledge of Greek (minimum B2 level)

- Demonstrated knowledge (at least B2 level) of at least one of the following languages: Arabic, Farsi and/or Dari, Urdu and/or Hindi and/or Punjabi, Russian, Ukrainian

- Proven professional experience of at least 12 months as intercultural mediators and/or interpreters
