We are proud to share that our initiative, Democracy4all, has been selected for the Better Politics Accelerator – Cohort 2026. This selection places us within a broader community of initiatives and individuals working to strengthen political leadership, promote active civic participation, and advance a more inclusive and democratic political system, with participation at its core.
This selection represents both a significant milestone and a new beginning for us. It fills us with hope and determination for the journey ahead, as we believe it will meaningfully contribute to the next steps of our initiative and to strengthening our impact.
As part of the Political Leadership Entrepreneurs Gathering in Berlin, Yonous Muhammadi, Director of our organization and one of the initiators of Democracy4all, took part in a short spotlight interview, presenting our vision and work, and highlighting why the political participation of people with refugee and migrant backgrounds is essential for a fair and vibrant democracy.
Democracy4all advocates for meaningful political participation and an inclusive decision-making process, where everyone, regardless of background, can have a role, responsibility, and access to decision-making at all levels. For us, participation is neither “decorative” nor symbolic representation. It is a right, a responsibility, and a prerequisite for a democratic and inclusive society that leaves no one behind.
