Mr Muhammadi, one of the 10 awardees of the 2020 Child 10 Award
The President and founder of the Greek Forum of Refugees was announced on the 18th of October, the European Anti – Trafficking Day, as one of the 2020 awardees of Child 10, for his passionate advocacy work on child protection.
Mr Muhammadi was selected among other extraordinary individuals who advocate with passion and consistency. Such as Sofia Kouvelaki the CEO of The HOME Project and Nantina Tsekeri, Director of Defence for Children International Greece.
The President of the Greek Forum of Refugees has been instrumental in organizing several refugee and migrant communities in Greece and generally in Europe – let us remind you that RISE Network (Refugees’ Ideas and Solutions for Europe) was awarded by Advocate Europe in 2016 and at the same years Human Rights Watch awarded Mr Muhammadi for his extraordinary activism.
Mr Muhammadi has been working hard in giving refugees’ and migrants’ communities a strong joint voice in their work with empowerment, advocacy, awareness-raising, rights protection and networking.
