The Greek Forum of Refugees joined Afghan Diaspora Organizations across the World on a common statement regarding recommendations addressed to the EU Institutions for a proper response to Afghanistan’s multiple crisis.
We, the signatories, emphasize in four (4) basic actions:
• An urgent response to the current humanitarian crisis considering the increasing demand for humanitarian assistance,
• An independent system to channel funding to resume the delivery of public services and avoid the total collapse of Afghanistan’s economy,
• To continue providing support for the evacuation, resettlement and protection for Afghans in Europe, regional and neighboring countries,
• To re – establish safe and secure living conditions in Afghanistan and ensure the protection and non – violation of fundamental human rights.
